I regularly followed Kevin's work and bought his annual calendars but when I saw the sunset photo of the Giants Causeway, it reminded of golden sunsets I'd witnessed in Brunei, the low angled sun catching the clouds, the brilliant depth perception and that wonderful moment when time seems to have paused and its captured forever. It reminded me of Aldous Huxley and his 1954 book, "The Doors of Perception", where light takes on that special quality and enhances the vibrancy and character of an object to give it an ethereal feel. As soon as I saw it, I ordered the largest print possible and it hangs in my living room where I can enjoy it every day.
